TRIP DETAILS 

In the region of Himalayas, Chardham Yatra is one of the most sacred pilgrimage which comprises of four abodes of hindu deties - Yamunotri, Gangotri, Badrinath and Kedarnath. During the 8th century a great hindu saint, Adi Shankaracharya had laid the foundation of all these destinations. This yatra consist of four religious destinations which are dedicated to the abode of four different deities of Hindus. Gangotri is abode of Goddess Ganga and also known as the origin of holy river Ganga. Yamunotri is the origin of river Yamuna and the dwelling of Goddess Yamuna. While Badrinath and Kedarnath are dedicated to lord Vishnu and lord Shiva. The 11 days Chardham yatra tour package is customized to acquaint you with spiritual aspect of ‘Dev Bhoomi’ Uttarakhand along with a chance to experience the thrill of white water rafting in Rishikesh.

Cities to be Visit:

Upon your arrival at Delhi airport/Railway Station, leave on road to Rishikesh. En route, halt for lunch. On arrival in Rishikesh, after some relaxation, you will be given a proper briefing and presentation of the Chardham yatra. Dinner and overnight stay will be provided in Rishikesh.

Following a leisurely breakfast in the morning (7.30 AM), start on your local sightseeing tour in Rishikesh. Popular attractions you will visit today include Laxman Jhula, Swargaashram and Ram Jhula. Later, leave for Barkot.

En route halt for lunch at Mussoorie followed by sightseeing tour which include visit to Kampty falls and Lakhamandal – a popular Shiva temple built by Pandavas after their successful fire escape from Varnavata. On arrival in Barkot, check in at the hotel where dinner and overnight stay will be arranged.

Post an early morning breakfast (5.30 AM); begin your yatra to Yamunotri followed by a trekking tour to Jankichatti. Today's sightseeing includes visit to Surya Kund- a hot spring pool visited by pilgrims to get refreshed and cook rice for offering Prasad in the temple, Divya Shila - a rock pillar worshipped by pilgrims before entering the Yamunotri temple, Yamunotri temple- a temple dedicated to holy river Yamuna. Return to Barkot for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, leave by road for Uttar Kashi and later, reach Harsil. On arrival in Harsil, check in at the hotel. Rest of the day is free for leisure and city exploration.

Post an early morning breakfast (7 AM), leave for Gangotri. On arrival in Gangotri, pay reverence to the holy river Ganges. Post lunch, drive back to Uttar Kashi. En route, visit Gangnani known for its thermal water springs and for offering panoramic views of snowy mountain peaks surrounding Gangotri. Later, return to your hotel for overnight stay in Uttar Kashi.

Early morning (6 AM), leave on road to Guptkashi. En route, you will pass through river Ganga while making way to Tehri Dam. After you reach Guptkashi in the evening, dinner and overnight stay will be provided in the hotel.

Post an early morning breakfast (7 AM), get escorted to the helipad to board the helicopter ride to Kedarnath. On arrival at Kedarnath, have Darshan and perform pooja at Kedarnath temple. Later, return to the helipad from where the helicopter-in-waiting will take you back to Guptkashi. From Guptkashi, you are driven to Rudraprayag.

Post an early morning breakfast, hit the road to Badrinath. En route halt at Jyotirmath and explore Narsimha temple and Sankracharya seat. On arrival in Badrinath, savor your lunch followed by excursion to Mana village (Badrinath temple is closed from 12 noon to 3 pm). Do darshan at Badrinath temple in the evening. Stay overnight at a hotel in Badrinath.

Early morning, partake in Mahabhishek pooja in Badrinath temple. You can also perform pind daan pooja in Brahmakapal to seek blessings for your ancestors' souls may rest in peace. At Mana village, visit Bhimpul - a huge rock forming a narrow bridge over the unruly Saraswati River said to have place by Mahabharata warrior Bhima, Vyas Gufa and Ganesh Gufa.

It is believed that sage Veda Vyas composed Mahabharata and Bhagwata Gita here and various confluences like Vishnu Prayag, Karan Prayag and Nand Prayag. Post breakfast, leave on road to Srinagar where dinner and overnight stay is arranged.

Early morning, leave by road to Haridwar. En route, stop at Deoprayag – the holy confluence of Bhagirathi and Alaknanda rivers.By afternoon, you will reach Haridwar where you can check in your hotel and relax for a while.

Local attractions that you can later set out to explore include Chandi Devi and Mansa Devi temples. In the evening, partake in Ganga Aarti at Har ki Pauri. Stay overnight at the hotel in Haridwar.

Post a leisurely breakfast in the morning, head straight to Delhi. At Delhi, you will be dropped at Delhi airport/ railway station to board flight/ train for onwards journey.
